International Students and Scholars
MUSC welcomes students and scholars from all over the world. More than 365 international students and scholars from over 63 countries enrich our campus culturally and academically. MUSC is committed to an environment that fosters international education and intercultural awareness. The MUSC Center for Global Health is dedicated to providing high-quality assistance and services to our international students and scholars with immigration and employment issues and cultural adjustment to minimize the difficulties upon arrival and during your stay at MUSC.
We are your resource on all immigration and visa sponsorship matters and our team provides advice and counseling with any concerns related to adjustment to life at MUSC and to life in the United States. Throughout the year, the Center for Global Health offers numerous educational, social, and cross-cultural programs, where you will have an opportunity to make valuable connections and become acquainted with the resources at MUSC and in Charleston to make your stay more enjoyable. The MUSC Center for Global Health is here to help make your transition to Charleston easier, and provides services to assist our international students and scholars,
The office is located on the fourth floor of the Harper Student Center (attached to the Wellness Center) at 45 Courtenay Drive. In order to ensure adequate service for the MUSC international community, appointments are required in order to meet with an immigration advisor.
